Research & Analysis

Understanding users’ needs and desires are the core of user-centric design. We dive deep in manipulating the product’s idea, competitor analysis and product positioning. In-depth analysis is performed to gather user insights; targeting users’ behaviors, needs and pain points.

Design Thinking

“Designers don’t try to search for a solution until they have determined the real problem, and even then, instead of solving that problem, they stop to consider a wide range of potential solutions. Only then will they finally converge upon their proposal. This process is called design thinking.” – Don Norman, author, the Design of Everyday Things.

Design thinking is an idea, a method and a strategy. Thinking like a designer can transform the way organisations develop products, services, processes, and strategy. This approach brings together what is desirable from a human point of view with what is technologically feasible and economically viable.

By teaming up with Innopage, we uses a human-centred approach to help clients identify new directions, and create new offerings by designing for people’s latent needs. Innopage continually strives to apply that same innovative human-centred approach to its internal people practices.

Design Thinking
Step 1: Emapthize

Understand the feelings, emotions, pain points, needs and goals of the target users when engaging a product or service, through observations and analysis of empathy maps, user journey maps and various other methodologies.

Step 1: Emapthize
Step 2: Define

Determine the fundamental root problems of a system in a user-centered way, by constructing problem statements that may convert challenges into opportunities.

Step 2: Define
Step 3: Ideate

Based on the results of the Define stage, use various methodologies to brainstorm and consider a wide range of solutions to address the users' needs, and then converge upon the most creative yet practical solutions.

Step 3: Ideate
Step 4: Prototype

Turn ideas into workable solutions by designing paper prototypes, drafting Information Architecture and simple Wireframes, experiment different approaches and identify the best solution that may solve the identified problems.

Step 4: Prototype
Step 5: Test

Revisite the problem statements to ensure the solution meets the needs of the target users, by putting the prototype into test and receive feedback from potential users for further analysis. Engage in continuous innovation and improvements to refine the design to create the best solution possible.

Step 5: Test

Prototyping

Prototype is an experimental model to visualize product’s idea, thus helps exploring concepts and ideas before investing. It allows us to gather relevant feedback, test results and improve on existing ideas in a timely fashion.

Wireframe is used to structure user experience and identify usability issues. Use cases are demonstrated with interactive mockup for greater explanation of ideas explaining the app idea to relevant stakeholders or investors.

Visual Design

Visual design is about communication between the app and users. User Interface (UI) design is one of the key factors affecting user experience. Our designers have created a brand-centric visual design system. Design Language System and Specification are developed in order to create a pixel-perfect user interface.
